Our first week was at OLP in Crestwood. Although Bill and I were still wintering in AZ, 7 Fish Fry Friday Research Crew members attended and gave OLP an overall score of 3.75 πππ fish on the 5 fish scale. The fried cod was only rated 3 as it was square, dry, and “like something from McDonald’s”. The Jack Salmon and shrimp were both rated 4.5. OLP is unique in that they also offer frog legs, which were rated 5. Sides include slaw, green beans (bland and mushy), fries (cold), mac & cheese (needed more cheese), hush puppies, and spaghetti. Homemade desserts were included. Overall, an average fish fry. See you next week at Sacred Heart in Eureka!
